Who is NSC Hauling

We are Natures Second Chance Hauling. LLC (NSC Hauling) We are based in Alton, IL.

 What does NSC Hauling do?

We are contracted with major retailers to remove the recycling bales from the back of their stores and transport them to a designated recycling center. We currently provide this service in 14 states and our successful track record in providing excellent service continues to fuel our growth. We expect to ad three more states in 2013!!

 What are the responsibilities of the Driver position?

A Driver for NSC Hauling working a regional route will generally start each week early each Monday. Each Driver runs a pre-determined service schedule and is responsible for picking up bales for a certain group of stores. How often we service a store depends on how many bales the store produces. Most stores are picked up weekly; some every two weeks, etc.. A Driver for NSC Hauling maintains the responsibility of keeping his / her route “on schedule” and providing excellent customer service to the stores on his / her route. Equally important is developing a great relationship with the store personnel. (most of our Drivers are on a first name basis with the personnel at each of their stores!!)

 What is a typical day for a Driver?

Each day, our Drivers know exactly which stores are due for service. After a comprehensive pre trip inspection of their truck / equipment, our Drivers depart to service their scheduled store(s). Depending on a Drivers service area, he / she can service one store each day or multiple stores each day. Our Drivers operate a “sleeper cab” tractor and a van trailer. The van trailer will carry a forklift or Bobcat which will be used to load the bales at each store. Depending on the trailer model, a “full” load typically is 36-45 bales. After a full load is achieved (or scheduled stores are picked up), the Driver will take the load to a recycling facility where the truck will be weighed in, unloaded, and weighed out empty. Depending on where the stores are located, some days will require the Driver to sleep overnight on his / her route. (usually one or two nights) Some days will be servicing more local stores and th

 RequirementsCandidate must have the following experience:

 - min 3 years class A driving experience

 - min 3 years forklift / bobcat (preferred) experience

 - min 2 years Flatbed experience/ loading and unloading

 Additional Qualifications include:

 - ability to drive and work outside in all climates

 - excellent driving / DOT record

 - excellent people skills - basic computer skills

 - excellent (verifiable) record of great attendance and being on time for work - experience working directly with customer and providing excellent customer service - track record of ability to work without direct supervision


NOTE- This position will require that you make 4+ stops each shift where you will off-load bobcat / forklift and load bales onto a van trailer. Please do not send a resume unless you meet the above listed requirements.


Compensation: $ 900.00 per week base pay + $ 300.00 per week service bonus!! First year average: $ 53K+
